DIRECTIONS TO
WHERE WE MEET BEFORE THE FLIGHT
24 East Main Street, Ephrata, PA

This store location is where we meet the morning of the flight. We will take
passengers in the chase van to the launch site,which is determined at that
time based on the speed and direction of the wind. Launch sites are within
20 minutes of this location.Any spectators may follow along in their cars
(see page 6for spectator guidelines).
OPTION 1: (from points east or west)
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) to the Reading/Lancaster
Exit # 286 -take Route 222 South 4.8 miles to the 1st exit;Ephrata/Route 322 -
at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit turn right onto Route 322 West -
travel approx. 2 miles and at the 6th traffic light make a right onto State Street,
turn right onto Rose Alley - Read Parking Options below.
OPTION 2: (from Harrisburg and west)
Take Route 283 East towards Lancaster, continue on Rt. 30 East at the
30/283 split - take Route 222 North to the 3rd exit, Route 322 -at the
traffic light at the bottom of the exit turn left onto 322 West - travel approx.
2 miles and at the 6th traffic light make a right onto State Street, turn right
onto Rose Alley - Read Parking Options below.
OPTION 3: (from Reading area)
Take Route 222 South to the Route 322 / Ephrata exit - at the traffic light at
the bottom of the exit turn right onto Route 322 West -travel approx. 2 miles
and at the 6th traffic light make a right onto State Street, turn right onto
Rose Alley -Read Parking Options below.
OPTION 4: (from York area)
Take Route 30 East towards Lancaster - continue on Route 30 East at the
30/283 split - take Route 222 North to the Ephrata/Route 322 West exit
- at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit turn left onto Route 322 West -
travel approx. 2 miles and at the 6th traffic light make a right onto State Street
, turn right onto Rose Alley -Read Parking Options below.
OPTION 5: (from Lebanon area)
Take Route 501 South - at the intersection of Rt 501 & Rt 322 turn left onto
Rt 322 East towards Ephrata - At the square in Ephrata make a left onto
State Street, Adventures Aloft/Celebrations! is the 3 story building on the
left just after you pass the square of downtown Ephrata (State Street)

PARKING OPTIONS:

oo From the Square in Ephrata, turn onto North State Street, right onto Rose Alley,
immediately on your right next to theOld Train Station.Parking is free until 11:00 am.
OR . . . From the Square in Ephrata, turn onto North State Street, right at the traffic light
onto Locust Street, follow the blue Public Parking signs, and immediately after the
Reformed Presbyterian Church, turn right into the Public Parking Lot.Do not park
inany spaces marked "Reserved". Parking is free until 11:00 am.
